About Us
Founded in 2008 by our Managing Director, Russell Sidney, The Lamp Factory London began as a humble workshop in his back garden. It has since expanded to dedicated facilities across South London and Sussex and now employs a team of over twenty highly skilled craftsmen.
With specialised workshops for machining, woodwork, metal finishing and polishing, metalwork, and wiring, we manage every aspect of production in-house. Russell brings over thirty years of industry experience, combining hands-on expertise with a talent for building strong relationships a combination that has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success and reputation.

We proudly champion the art of British craftsmanship, celebrating the skill and dedication of our team of artisans. Our in-house South London production facilities give us complete control over every stage of the process.
We take great pride in reviving traditional techniques, transforming unique materials into stunning lighting pieces, and ensuring each creation is as enduring as it is beautiful.
